Roosevelt Dimes
The Roosevelt Dime made its introduction in 1946 and is
still being made today. Unlike other coins, the
Roosevelt dime does not have a wide collector base.
Dimes made in 1964 and before are typically sold as bulk
silver. Part of the reason that these dimes are not as
widely collected as other coins is the shear number in which
they were made. There are no real rare Roosevelt
dimes.
The
composition of the Roosevelt dime changed from a 90% silver
coin to the copper/clad coin you use today.
